NORWOOD, MA (August 27, 2014) – Toy State, juguetera líder e innovadora con 30 años de historia, ha anunciado hoy que ha finalizado con éxito la compra de Nikko Toys Ltd. y Nikko Entertainment BV, líderes mundiales en el sector de juguetes de radiocontrol (R/C).
“We are extremely excited to have finished the acquisition of Nikko,” said Simon Cheng, Toy State’s CEO and founder. “This sale has energized both the Toy State and Nikko teams, and we are eager to build on Nikko’s already strong lineup of R/C toys.”
As a result of the acquisition, Toy State has expanded its global offices to include locations in Breda (Netherlands) and Japan, as well as a more extensive corporate headquarters in Hong Kong. The company’s US headquarters remains in Boston.
Nikko, fundada en 1958, fabrica una amplísima gama de juguetes de R/C de alta calidad, entre los que se incluyen líneas producidas mediante acuerdos de licencia con fabricantes de automóviles de primer nivel y marcas mundiales de la talla de Transformers™, Hello Kitty®, Fast & Furious™ y Angry Birds™.
